for the Premium, both variants of the 2023 Exora are powered by the familiar 1.6 litre turbocharged inline-four petrol Campro CFE engine, which produces 140 PS at 5,000 rpm and 205 Nm of torque from 2,000 to 4,000 rpm. Drive goes to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission. The Campro CFE unit gets an updated oil cooler hose .
Meanwhile, equipment on the Exora Executive includes a urethane steering wheel, fabric upholstery, manual air-conditioning, standard audio head unit with Bluetooth and four speakers. Standard safety equipment on the 2023 Exora range consists of two airbags, ABS, EBD, two rear parking sensors and emergency stop signal.
plus greatly improved interior… never mind that the price may be in the range of 9xk thru 110k range… that is where Preve should be. not the 60k thru 70k price bracket… what a missed opportunityThe lifecycle of most new cars is 3-5 years.Any additional years are “botox” facelifts.In contrary I prefer cars with longer lasting model lifespan. Better resale value to customers. Those 3-5 years lifespan like BMW etc I boycott. Spare parts expensive and resale value is the worst.
Both the Saga and Exora , need to meet or exceed the investment costs. They have done so for sure so why not keep them with a refresh. Why invest in more than what the market would need in an ageing model? There is a huge market out there for a basic MPV in the sub-70k price bracket.
