JOHOR BARU: Police arrested 21 more people, including two women, in the anti-gambling Ops Dadu Khas.
Johor police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said the latest arrests were made on Friday following a series of inspections at 18 premises throughout Johor.
“Police seized 21 mobile phones, 10 printers and cash amounting to RM3,053 in the operation,” he said in a statement on Saturday . “All of those nabbed are aged between 18 and 66. There are 162 men and 36 women,” he said, adding the case is being investigated under Sections 4A and 4B of the Open House Gambling Act 1953.
