Kota Kinabalu: Some 60 children, dressed in mini white coats, had a fun-filled weekend immersed in their roles as pharmacists at “My Little Pharmacist Day” at the Sabah State Library where they learnt to prepare, label, compound and dispense medications following correct procedures.
The event, organised by the Sabah Pharmaceutical Society in conjunction with World Pharmacists Day, offered children the hands-on opportunity to indulge in the power of pretend play while expanding their knowledge of medicines and developing their confidence and essential skills like goal setting, communication, learning to follow instructions and attention to detail.
