BNM’s Adam Ariff Roslan says the banking details of a Riyad Bank account said to belong to ‘Prince Faisal Turki Al Saud’ were not available to him.
Najib Razak is on trial for abuse of power and money laundering involving 1MDB funds amounting to RM2.28 billion deposited into his AmBank accounts between 2011 and 2014.
Adam Ariff Roslan said investigating officers from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission could not furnish him with the details of an account held with Riyad Bank said to belong to “Prince Faisal Turki Al Saud” at the time of his analysis. Adam said that from his analysis, Good Star had on Feb 18, 2011 remitted the sum of US$12.5 million to an account attributed to “Prince Faisal”.
