Kota Kinabalu: Special Advisor to the Chief Minister on International Relations and Foreign Investment Tan Sri Anifah Aman has urged all parties in the Israel-Hamas coflict to deescalate and reconsider the proposed two-state solution.
Anifah said the clashes in the Gaza strip is catastrophic to humankind as the bloodshed continues and the death toll increases by the day."I am appalled and shocked that the international community is not doing anything or putting pressure on all parties involved to cease fire and prioritising the lives of innocent bystanders in this conflict," he said in a statement.
"At this critical time where innocent lives on both sides are becoming heavy casualties, all parties must show restraint and halt the violence, particularly against women and children. Violence is never justifiable.
