Kota Kinabalu: A smart application of the Animal Welfare System has been introduced by the Sabah Veterinary Services Department (DVS) for the public to file complaints on animal cruelty.
DVS Sabah Director Dr Normah Yusuf said the application is equipped with a complaint system through QR code scanning, including the provision of various information on the Animal Welfare Enactment 2015. She said the system is able to manage quality complaints within 24 to 48 hours, with a high success rate, based on the achievements made during the system’s test period.
