Apple AirPods Pro gets a connector update - it now has a USB-C port for charging, instead of the traditional Lightning port. Coming soon to Malaysia for only RM 1,099
You can get the updated AirPods Pro for– surprisingly the same sticker price as the previous model. There is also the updated EarPods, now with USB-C connector for only RM 99.
With the new port, users can use any USB-C charger in the market, not to mention the official Apple chargers, or even any Macbooks/iMacs without using a USB-C to Lightning cable. The AirPods can even reverse charge when connected to any of the new iPhone 15 via USB-C cable. A new audio mode will be introduced with iOS 17 for the AirPods Pro called Adaptive Audio. The mode blends Transparency mode and Active Noise Cancellation, adjusting the noise control based on the sound in a user’s environment. Conversation Awareness meanwhile lowers the content volume, enhances the voices in front of the user, and reduces background noise when someone is talking to the user.
