PETALING JAYA: Pergerakan arah angin semasa dari tenggara yang melalui Laut Banda, Laut Jawa dan Kepulauan Riau berkemungkinan membawa bersama jerebu dari selatan Kalimantan dan Sumatera ke Malaysia dan Singapura. Menurut Pusat Meteorologi Khas ASEAN yang berpangkalan di Singapura, keadaan diburukkan lagi dengan keadaan cuaca kekal kering selama tempoh 24 jam di Kalimantan dan Sumatera.
