Kota Kinabalu: It was an eye opener for Sabah’s Casper Loh in his debut Asian Tour at the US1 million SJM Macao Open held at the Macau Golf and Country Club over the weekend.
The 23-year-old, who was invited for the tournament, reckoned that he has learnt a lot from the experience despite missing the cut.“It was a great experience playing in the SJM Macao Open. I don’t think I’m that far back in terms of skill. It’s more about playing strategy, so I need to work on that aspect of my game to be able to compete against the leading Asian players.

The Kota Kinabalu lad, who only turned professional in May, is currently ranked 25th in the tour with seven tournaments competed.Meanwhile, fellow Sabahan Nicholas Fung, who was the only Malaysian to make the half way cut in Macao, finished in tied 51st place.
