PETALING JAYA: Indonesian Jeffer Rosobin has been appointed as the Badminton Association of Malaysia's (BAM) new head of the junior department, replacing Datuk Misbun Sidek.
PETALING JAYA: A babysitter has been detained in connection with the death of a two-month-old baby girl at a daycare centre in Kota Damansara here.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said the woman, in her 40s, was arrested around 3pm on Friday ."She was detained and subsequently released on police bail after having her statement recorded," he said when contacted on Saturday .He urged the public to give space to police to investigate the matter thoroughly.
The victim Qaseh Aulia Faizul was sent to the daycare centre on Tuesday , said her father Faizul Ali Adam in a viral video. Faizul said shortly after, he received a call from the centre, informing that his daughter was unconscious and would be brought to a hospital around the area.Faizul lodged a police report after reviewing footage of the centre's surveillance camera and suspected negligence in the babysitter while caring for his girl.
