Justice Aslam Zainuddin said good conduct is absolutely essential to the administration of justice.
Justice Aslam Zainuddin has reminded lawyers of the need to act with candour, courtesy and fairness, and uphold the dignity of the profession at all times.
However, he said, such duties must be discharged within the bounds of propriety and courtesy and as officers of the court. “The bad blood between counsel who conducted this appeal was palpable, patent and pronounced when this matter was heard before me,” he said in the ruling posted on the judiciary’s website earlier this week.
