'Attention thrill seekers!'
Police have issued a statement after receiving 'multiple complaints' about parking and obstructions in the area. They are now reminding people that double yellow lines and cones are on the roads for a purpose.
Officers have asked people not to park on Barbara Castle Way for this reason, and say enforcement will be 'ongoing. Instead', they are advising motorists about the ample parking available off Penny Street.A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "Attention thrill seekers! Those wanting to visit the fun fair in Blackburn, please do not park on Barbara Castle Way.
"There has been multiple complaints and tickets issued tonight for obstructions. . Enforcement will be ongoing
