Boeing attributed the latest MAX problem to incorrectly drilled holes in the fuselage’s pressure-maintaining component.
The aviation giant sent just 15 of the top-selling jets to customers last month, the fewest since August 2021, according to figures on Boeing’s website. Boeing has described the latest MAX issue as the result of misshapen holes drilled in a part of the fuselage that helps maintain plane pressure. The company maintains that there is no immediate safety of flight concern.
