PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has started tabling Budget 2024 in Parliament on Friday (Oct 13) where he is expected to roll out bolder measures and reforms.
PETALING JAYA: A total of RM720mil has been allocated to encourage women and youth to go into business.
In hisBudget 2024 speech on Friday , Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the government wants to increase women's labour force participation to 60%, by providing tax incentives until 2027 for women to re-enter the workforce. There will also be an increase in tax exemption from RM2,400 to RM3,000 for employers who offer their staff allowances for childcare.
