PETALING JAYA: More funds should be used on the battle to wipe out job scams instead of spending them on the victims who were lured to work overseas for these syndicates.

"Of the total allocation, RM12.67bil is slated for operating purposes, which is an 11.04% increase. Meanwhile, RM7.05bil is for development purposes, an increase of 11.37%," said the ministry in a statement on Saturday . "The Budget 2024 for the Defence Ministry will spur the commitment and spirit of members of the Armed Forces who are constantly enhancing their readiness for the country's sovereignty.
