Previously, we shared how Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming is focusing on solving the issue that is close to the hearts of the people: Public toilet cleanliness.
Furthermore, the ministry has also introduced the ‘BMW-grade’ clean toilet concept, which doesn’t refer to the luxury car brand, but instead an acronym for Bersih, Menawan and Wangi in Bahasa Melayu, which roughly translates to English as clean, charming and fragrant. As reported by BERNAMA, this was among 29 KPKT initiatives under the national utility reform agenda for Budget 2024 put forward during the ministry’s meeting with the Treasury Secretary-General recently.
