KUALA LUMPUR: Another 12 men have been arrested over a street brawl between two rival factions of tow truck drivers at Kampung Malaysia Tambahan recently.

The by-election is being called for following the death of its incumbent Datuk Seri Johari Harun in a plane crash in Shah Alam, Selangor, on Aug 17. However, no early voting centres were open for the Pelangai state by-election, despite the fact that early voting was set for Oct 3 after the EC issued 73 ballot papers to those eligible for postal voting.
BN and PN made the most of the time given to reach out to as many voters as possible through door-to-door campaigns, events, and ceramah, and increased their efforts in the second week.
