The lowest tier, dubbed “1+1”, is recommended for homes up to 1,500 sqft.
Next, the 1+2 plan gives you two slave units for two additional rooms in your home. This costs RM75 per month for 24 months with an installation fee of RM648. And finally, the 1+3 package is recommended for areas bigger than 3,000 sqft with three slave units. The highest tier will set you back RM95 per month with an installation fee of RM864.
Keep in mind that while FTTR supports up to 1Gbps, the actual speed will be limited to the fibre plan you are subscribed to. Interestingly, CelcomDigi states that this infrastructure is actually capable of supporting up to 10Gbps speeds in case it starts offering such a plan in the future.
