This follows Ahmad Fadhli Shaari’s previous announcement of the coming protest on Malaysia Day as part of its #SelamatkanMalaysia campaign.
Perikatan Nasional’s Hilman Idham claimed the authorities were trying to frighten people protesting against the conditional discharge given to deputy prime minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
In a statement, he claimed the move was an intimidation tactic aimed at frightening people protesting against the conditional discharge deputy prime minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi received in his graft case. The Gombak Setia assemblyman said he would give his statement at 11am tomorrow at the Dang Wangi police headquarters.
