Perikatan Nasional’s Dzowahir Ab Ghani beat Pakatan Harapan’s Zamri Yusuf in a straight fight for the Suka Menanti seat in the recent Kedah state election.
Judge Quay Chew Soon dismissed the election petition filed by Zamri Yusuf, the Pakatan Harapan candidate who lost, to challenge PN’s win in the state seat.In the Aug 12 polls, PN’s Dzowahir Ab Ghani obtained 18,396 votes to win the seat in a straight fight against Zamri who polled 10,151 votes.
