He was charged with receiving gratifications of between RM200 and RM3,000, deposited into his account, for information on projects in Johor.
The court was informed that Rozairi Ismail was facing a similar case pending at the Shah Alam court.
Rozairi Ismail, 33, from Felda Jengka 13, Maran, near here, pleaded guilty to all the charges before judge Ahmad Zamzani Zain. The charges are framed under Section 25 of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009, which provides a maximum fine of RM100,000 or imprisonment for up to 10 years, or both, if convicted.
Rozairi was also ordered to surrender his passport to the court and to report himself at the Putrajaya MACC office every month pending disposal of his case.
