The Communications and Digital Ministry recently revealed that the 5G network coverage in Malaysia’s populated areas is now at 66.8%, making our nation set to achieve its target of 80% coverage by the end of the year.
Taking to Facebook, Fahmi said that among the reasons for low 5G network usage in our country include the prices of 5G smartphones that are not affordable. Hence, that’s why the government recently launched the 5G RAHMAH package that allows eligible Malaysians to purchase a 5G-enabled smartphone at a low price.
