SEMPORNA: Fire destroyed two houses in Kampung Cina, here, on Monday evening.
State Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said they were alerted of the fire at 4.44am via Mers 999.A team of firefighters from Semporna Fire and Rescue station was deployed to the scene.
“Upon arrival, the head of operation reported that the incident involved a semi-permanent house which was completely destroyed and a permanent house which was 90 per cent destroyed. Read more The team managed to put the fire under control at 5.16pm and, fortunately, no casualty was reported. The losses as well as the cause of fire are still under investigation.
