KUALA LUMPUR: Five police reports have been lodged over a TikTok video urging people to gather in front of the Sogo shopping centre here on Sept 16.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid said that an investigation paper has been opened.
"The police urge the people not to be involved in assemblies that do not adhere to the law. Action will be taken agaisnt those involved," he said in a statement on Tuesday . Previously, Perikatan Youth chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari said they would hold a peaceful assembly on Sept 16 as part of its"Save Malaysia Movement" .
