The Sessions Court here today discharged and acquitted a former shooting coach of the Terengganu State Sports Council of the charge of causing the death of a man, 13 years ago.
He said 21 prosecution witnesses and three defence witnesses, including Zamil, were called in the trial held from Dec 7, 2020, to Aug 6, 2023. In the incident, a man was shot dead after trying to break into the home of the MSN shooting trainer through the back door. Meanwhile, Shafee & Co in a statement said that their client’s journey through the judicial system began on Feb 10, 2010, when he was charged with murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code over the death of Syed Haikar Iskandar.
