Hackers go after Wan Junaidi again

PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar (pic) is the target of hackers again.

He said his Telegram account was hacked by scammers, adding that his own niece was duped.

“I was asked to contact the ambassador through Telegram. When the caller asked me to open my Viber app, I realised something was wrong,” he said yesterday. He said the next day, he instructed his officer to lodge a report with the Malaysian Communica-tions and Multimedia Commission and Cybersecurity Malaysia.

He said his niece went to his office in Parliament yesterday saying she had been asked to do so by “him”.
