believes the issue of waterlogged pitch at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil will not recur after the completion of the upgrading works to the drainage system.
“Yes, there won’t be issues like water-logged pitch like what we had witnessed in a video clip of how the pitch was replaced with a new turf, how the ground was cleared and dug out and new grass laid. The National Stadium will host the Merdeka Cup tournament from Oct 13 to 17 and certainly serve as the best opportunity to witness the quality of the pitch and the upgrading of facilities.
