The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 are the latest pair of high-end earbuds from the tech giant, announced a couple of
and as of yesterday, they were made available in their home market of China. More excitingly, the product might make its way to Malaysia quite soon, as it already received SIRIM certification.
We found that the earbuds were listed on the database just last week on 20 September with the model number T0018 as well as T0018C for the charging case. The Chinese brand has yet to announce the local availability of the device but with this listing, we can expect the FreeBuds Pro 3 to be released here in the near future.
The earbuds feature 11mm dynamic drivers with the Kirin A4 chip which supports 1.5Mbps lossless audio transmission. Adding to that, they support SBC, AAC, L2HC 3.0, LDAC, LHDC, and Apt-X codecs, although L2HC can only be used when paired with Huawei phones. Another improvement is the active noise cancellation, which the company claims is able to reduce noise by up to 5dB more compared to the. For the battery life, they can last up to 6.5 hours on a single charge without ANC and offer a total of 30 hours of usage with the charging case.
The FreeBuds Pro 3 retail for CNY1,499 with four colour options, although it’s unknown which colours will be sold here. With the increased price in China, it wouldn’t be surprising to see that the new earbuds also get a price hike here compared to last year’s model.
