PETALING JAYA: Malaysian singer Jeryl Lee Pei Ling has made the country proud after emerging as the victor in Chinese reality TV show The Next 2023.“It feels like a dream. Every time I felt like giving up, I told myself to persevere, work harder and that I will be able to do it.
“This time, I can say with confidence that I have done it! I have not let you all down,” she wrote on Instagram.In the final episode that aired on Sept 30, she could be seen crying tears of joy when she was announced the winner.She added that she had made many new friends.
She also shared some words of advice: “Whatever it is you wish to do, be brave and pursue it. Adventurers, don’t be afraid or give up easily. If I can do it, so can you.”
