CINEBALU Screenings at the 14th Kota Kinabalu International Film Festival (KKIFF) continues this evening (Thursday) with two films.

The films offered are the Indonesian shortie “The Sun Rises in the Shadow of the Past” and Singaporean feature film “Twenty20”.“The Sun Rises in the Shadow of the Past,” directed by Wayan Martino, tells the story of Putri and her blind mother. Putri is a third-grade junior high school student who sells bead bracelets at a tourist site on her way home from school.
