PUTATAN: The Kembara Kenali Borneo tour shows that the construction of the Pan Borneo Highway is vital and needs to be completed to help drive Sabah’s economic growth.
Deputy Chief Minister III Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya said the tour by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah recently was a commitment by the Federal Government to continue the construction of the Pan Borneo Highway.Shahelmy said Phase One of the Pan Borneo Highway in Sabah has not yet been fully completed, including Package 16 from Check Point Tawau-Semporna to Kinabatangan and Telupid to Ranau.
