Kelab Media Johor berkata dua insiden itu berlaku dalam dua acara kempen parti politik ketika pengamal media membuat liputan sidang media menteri berkenaan.

Ceramah pilihan raya diadakan di Taman Anggerik, Pulai, Johor, minggu lepas. Dua wartawan dan seorang jurugambar didakwa dikasari semasa kempen itu.

Pengerusinya, Mohamad Fauzi Ishak, berkata insiden itu menimbulkan kebimbangan mengenai isu keselamatan pengamal media yang membuat liputan PRK Parlimen Pulai dan DUN Simpang Jeram. “Beberapa pegawai pengiring telah menghalang beberapa pengamal media ketika sidang media menteri berkenaan diadakan, antaranya menyentuh tangan seorang wartawan wanita yang sedang merakam sidang media tersebut.

“Suara wartawan wanita menjerit “jangan sentuh saya” turut terakam dalam rakaman sidang media berkenaan,” katanya dalam kenyataan.
