The strike took place at Arbat airfield, southeast of Sulaimaniyah, yesterday.

BAGHDAD: A senior military official in Baghdad said today that a drone which killed three Kurdish counter-terrorism officers had originated from neighbouring Turkey, and condemned the violation of Iraq’s sovereignty.

“This attack constitutes a violation of Iraq’s sovereignty”, he said, adding: “Iraq reserves the right to put a stop to these violations.” Turkish military action has principally targeted the Kurdistan Worker’s Party and its Syrian Kurdish ally, the People’s Defence Units .
