Lenovo has transformed the iconic Formula 1 winner podium celebration with the world's first kiss-activated trophy.
Football, basketball, Formula 1, e-sports, and much more. There are many professional sports we watch and support in our daily lives. For instance, as a football enthusiast, I seize every opportunity to watch matches and support my team. And what do I get in return? Naturally, the joy of seeing my team lift a trophy and achieve championship glory.
The trophy features a touch-sensitive microswitch that connects to a complex array of LED lights, programmed to display the winner’s flag. A subtle light will guide the winning driver to activate the display selected just before the podium ceremony. “The podium celebration is a moment of pure joy and excitement,” said Philip Marchington, Executive Creative Director of Corporate Marketing, Lenovo.
“Our kiss-activated trophy elevates this tradition by adding a touch of innovation and celebration. It’s a trophy that’s worthy of the world’s greatest drivers and the most prestigious motor racing competition.” Unfortunately, I’ve never been a big fan of Formula racing.
