BANGKOK (Reuters): Authorities in Thailand charged a 14-year-old boy with premeditated murder and illegal possession of a firearm on Wednesday (Oct 4) after a shooting spree at a Bangkok mall using what police said was a modified pistol intended to fire blanks.
PETALING JAYA: The alleged raid by the Inland Revenue Board at the residence of Perikatan Nasional secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin was politically motivated, claims Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.“Just like my case, these are all politically motivated, I hope it will be stopped,” the former premier was quoted as saying by Sinar Harian when meeting the press after launching the Perikatan Penang Convention on Saturday .
The Perikatan chairman said in democracy, everyone has a right to do anything as long as the action does not go against the law.He said the news reports on his residence being raided was “slander” and planned to take legal action against those who were involved in spreading the information. The Opposition leader also claimed the reports were part of a move to slander Perikatan leaders and that he has evidence to prove it.
