Malaysians are our own biggest hype person, as we enjoy championing one another especially when it comes to other locals making a name for themselves or just plain doing good while we’re overseas.
One example of this is when a Malaysian doctor was spotted on a flight from Türkiye to Kuala Lumpur by another Malaysian, where she had cut through the panic on board to help an elderly woman who had fainted. Fellow Malaysian, Mohsen Alkaff محسن الكاف, took to his X account to showcase and hype up the doctor’s brave and kind act.He wrote, “I was on board a Turkish Airlines flight back to KL from Istanbul. An elderly Turkish lady fainted due to high blood pressure. The whole plane panicked until a Malaysian doctor, Dr. Syazwani came to the rescue. Such a heroic tale. So proud of Dr. Syazwani.”
In the images showcased, Dr. Syazwani could be seen tending to the elderly woman as she laid unconscious on the plane’s aisle, with the assistance of a flight attendant. What do you think about this?
