Kota Kinabalu: Kerajaan diminta untuk mengadakan perbincangan dan membuat penelitian bagi memastikan sistem governans bekalan elektrik dalam keadaan terbaik apabila syarikat utiliti bekalan Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) diserahkan kepada kerajaan negeri tahun depan.
Pengerusi SESB Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau berkata ia bagi memastikan urus tadbir bekalan itu dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik dari segi penjanaan , penghantaran dan pengagihan .“Di Sarawak, ekosistem governannya sudah mantap. Ada syarikat utiliti iaitu Sarawak Energy Berhad , kemudian pengawal selia pelaksana iaitu Kementerian Utiliti dan Telekomunikasi Sarawak, serta pembuatan dasar iaitu Kementerian Tenaga dan Kelestarian Alam Sekitar Sarawak," kata beliau dalam kenyataan media.
