KUALA LUMPUR: The two main suspects in the murders of three Sri Lankan men at Jalan Perhentian Kampung Kovil Hilir on Friday (Sept 22) night are still in the country.

"Two others who were previously detained are still under remand to assist with the investigation," he told a press conference at city police headquarters on Monday .

Comm Allaudeen said they have not ascertained the motive behind the triple murder as the main suspects are still at large. "We are also ruling out the possibility that the murders were connected to conflicts in Sri Lanka," he added.It was reported that a macabre discovery was made by police responding to a 999 call regarding a fight when three dead men were found tied up in a shophouse.

The public had called in with reports of a fight at a shophouse in Jalan Perhentian Kampung Kovil Hilir Friday night."We found a married couple in the house. "During our search of the premises, we found three dead men in one room. One body was naked, and all three had their hands and legs bound.He added that the Sri Lankan husband and wife, the parents of one victim, were detained to help with the investigation.
