PUTATAN: Major General Malek Razak Sulaiman, a former Army Headquarters Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Training, has assumed command of the Fifth Infantry Division.
His succeeds Major General Datuk Abdul Rahman A Wahab who has been named Assistant Commander of the Reserve Forces Division at the Kuala Lumpur Army Headquarters.Malek Razak, when met by reporters, said in order to safeguard the security of the State, the Fifth Infantry will continue its cooperation with the Sabah Government and other security agencies.
