Some Maxis customers are currently facing another round of service disruptions. The telco has yet to provide any explanation but did say that the network issues are disrupting both of its voice and mobile data services.
For the second time in a week, Maxis customers are experiencing difficulties accessing the telco’s services. It is unclear whether today’s disruptions are related to“We are aware that some of our customers have been experiencing service disruptions including the services of our apps. Our teams are working hard to resolve the matter as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and patience, and we apologise for the inconvenience during this time. You should experience improvements and full recovery of service soon. ” – @MaxisListenswhich said that the service disruptions started at 8:30 PM. No reasons were provided but the notice did say that it is happening in scattered areas throughout Malaysia and affects both voice as well as mobile data services.
This is a slight departure compared to earlier this week whereby the telco pretty much went radio silence and didn’t release any direct statement regarding the prolonged disruptions that it experienced on 3 October. That being said, Maxis didn’t say when exactly its services will go back to normal. So, it looks like it is going to be a long night for some Maxis customers out there.
