The PGA Tour stars will clash in a $10 million event pitting the PGA Tour against LIV Golf.
Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau will face off in 'The Showdown' on Tuesday, with the American reminding McIlroy of his US Open victory. McIlroy will team up with World No.1 Scottie Scheffler to take on DeChambeau and five-time major Brooks Koepka in the made-for-TV event. The 18-hole contest will be split into three parts, featuring six-hole sections of fourballs, foursomes and singles.
DeChambeau jokingly reminded McIlroy of his victory at the US Open when asked who he would like to face in singles. McIlroy admitted he found it hard to concentrate down the closing stretch at Pinehurst, where he finished second to DeChambeau
