KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s banking system remained well-capitalised throughout the first half of 2023 (1H 2023), with the banks continuing to maintain strong liquidity buffers, said Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).
KUALA LUMPUR: The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry is committed to monitoring the food supply in the country with at least 2,200 enforcement officers deployed daily, says Senator Fuziah Salleh.
She said the ministry's enforcement officers also carried out raids on business premises, while its plainclothes officers checked the prices of goods while ensuring sufficient food supply."There are also those in plainclothes who investigate shops instead of just following a schedule,” she told the Dewan Rakyat on Monday .
