Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s economic performance from 2006 to 2022 grew moderately at a rate of 3.4 per cent per year compared to Malaysia at a rate of 4.1 per cent, said Deputy State Secretary Datuk Ahemad Sade.

“Sabah’s overall productivity growth is also at a moderate level, contracting to 0.5 per cent per year compared to the national average, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. “This requires intervention based on productivity to enhance the potential for expanding the State’s economic activities,” he said.
