RANAU: Mount Kinabalu is open to climbers despite the incident where a torrential stream formed on the climbing route on Tuesday.

The river-like incident on Kinabalu from 5.50am until 7am at Km 7.2, near the Sayat-Sayat Check Point, was recorded by a climber and went viral on social media.Panalaban Sub-Station Supt Julaimin Bin Kamin said all climbers are subject to climbing safety SOP and the Park Enactment.
