SANDAKAN: Libaran Member of Parliament Datuk Suhaimi Nasir does not agree with the decision of the Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS) to raise the assessment tax beginning next year.
He said currently the MPS services to taxpayers are still low, especially in relation to drains that are not maintained causing blockages, delay in cutting grasses, potholed and damaged roads in housing estates and poor garbage collection service. “As a Member of Parliament, I often raise these problems with the authorities in the State Legislative Assembly and Dewan Rakyat but overlooked by MPS.
