Salleh Said Keruak says Perikatan Nasional chairman Muhyiddin Yassin may have to consider other options to safeguard his interests.
Salleh Said Keruak said PAS wanted to tie up with Dr Mahathir Mohamad due to his far more impressive track record when compared with Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin.
“Mahathir’s track record is far more impressive,” the former communications and digital minister said in a Facebook post. “I believe that just like Mahathir, Muhyiddin also believes that in politics there is no permanent enemy. He has to rely on himself to safeguard his political interests and ambitions.”
On Sept 14, Samsuri announced that an official grouping of the four state governments under PN control, dubbed “state government four” , with Mahathir as an unofficial adviser, was in the works.
