IPOH: A 41-year-old woman with a 'Datuk' title has been charged with stealing two luxury watches from a house in Pinggiran Rapat Ria here.
SEREMBAN: The Negri Sembilan government has identified a 20ha area in Kampung Londah, Gemas, to grow padi, says Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias.
“We are also looking at growing padi on idle land in the state to address the slight shortage that we have been facing due to an increase in demand. He was replying to a question from Labu assemblyman Mohamad Hanifah Abu Baker during the state assembly sitting here yesterday. Jalaluddin said that on Sept 20, a total of 20 tonnes were distributed, followed by 25 tonnes two days later, and another 60 tonnes on Sept 26.Jalaluddin said that as a short-term measure, more local white rice will be sent to seven districts in the state.
