Driving your EV to Thailand? You can now activate Shell Recharge DC Fast Chargers via the ParkEasy app. There are 11 locations that are mostly equipped with 180kW DC units.
. The majority of these chargers are 180kW DC fast charging units with two nozzles. Interestingly, both Phetchaburi and Nontaburi Shell Recharge locations are listed with 360kW DC chargers in the ParkEasy app.
Unlike Shell Recharge DC chargers in Malaysia which are priced per minute, Thailand’s DC chargers are priced per kWh. The 11 DC Chargers are priced at RM1.43/kWh and there’s a parking fee of RM15.87 per hour after 90 minutes. The listed pricing is inclusive of 14% roaming fee and 7% VAT. From the ParkEasy app, you can reserve a charging bay 20 minutes in advance and you’re allowed to park for up to 90 minutes.
If you’re new to ParkEasy, you’ll need to reload your account with credits before you can use a charger. You can reload via saved credit or debit card, and the minimum top-up amount is RM10. 1 credit is equivalent to RM1.
