Ampang Jaya district police chief ACP Mohd Azam Ismail stated that the complainant, aged 21, and his father, aged 50, were approached by three unknown men with one of them introducing himself as a police officer from Shah Alam, Selangor, on 27 September. Following that, Azam stated that suspects were arrested during the raids that were conducted in Tasek Permai, Taman Sri Intan Lembah Jaya Selatan, and Ampang Campuran, all in the Ampang areas
"One of them works as an electrician, while the other two are unemployed. After further investigations, we found out that all three suspects have prior records of drug offences and criminal activity. Their mobile phones were also seized," he said.
