PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan's victory in the Pulai and Simpang Jeram by-elections is a positive development for the unity government, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Prime Minister said that this would help the government to ensure the people's economic and development agenda is achieved.
“My appreciation goes to all the voters who are confident in the efforts of the unity government in developing the country,” said the Pakatan Harapan chairman. Nazri, also from Amanah, received 13,844 votes while his opponent, Perikatan’s Dr Mohd Mazri Yahya got 10,330 votes.
